Third Edition of “International Young Chef Olympiad”

The finals of the third edition of “International Young Chef Olympiad” were held on 2 February 2017 in Calcutta, organized by the International Institute of Hotel Management. The prestigious manifestation saw young chefs from over 30 countries compete during a journey which took them to various cities in India, before the final session in Calcutta. The winner was the representative of Singapore. However, it is to be mentioned that the Italian representative, Luigi Amaduzzi, won a special prize of the jury (which was made up of the best cooks in Calcutta and India) for “Inspirational Young Chef”.
The manifestation once again marked the public interest and local attraction for tastes and ingredients of Italian food.
